It has taken more than 16 years to produce a standalone dot.ie website and regular readers will recognise some of the early 21st century writing at http://irish.typepad.com (also known as http://insideview.ie). During the next three months, portions of the original Irish Typepad site will start to appear on http://underway.ie because it's only natural to start linking related content.
Whenever members of our extended family visit Ireland, we try to find the final resting grounds of in graveyards all around Ireland. It's a particularly sentimental moment when you see your surname carved in granite from more than 200 years ago. We recognise part of our family tree inside the walls of the Rock of Cashel.
